SV	En het geschiedde, nadat Saul wedergekeerd was van achter de Filistijnen, zo gaf men hem te kennen, zeggende: Zie, David is in de woestijn van En-gedi.
WLC	וַיְהִ֗י כַּֽאֲשֶׁר֙ שָׁ֣ב שָׁא֔וּל מֵאַחֲרֵ֖י פְּלִשְׁתִּ֑ים וַיַּגִּ֤דוּ לֹו֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר הִנֵּ֣ה דָוִ֔ד בְּמִדְבַּ֖ר עֵ֥ין גֶּֽדִי׃ ס
Trans.	wayəhî ka’ăšer šāḇ šā’ûl mē’^aḥărê pəlišətîm wayyagiḏû lwō lē’mōr hinnēh ḏāwiḏ bəmiḏəbar ‘ên geḏî:

AC	ב ויקח שאול שלשת אלפים איש בחור--מכל ישראל וילך לבקש את דוד ואנשיו על פני צורי היעלים
ASV	Then Saul took three thousand chosen men out of all Israel, and went to seek David and his men upon the rocks of the wild goats.
BE	Then Saul took three thousand of the best men out of all Israel, and went in search of David and his men on the rocks of the mountain goats.
